Our Growing Families Event is the perfect opportunity to learn about the essentials of adding a newborn into the mix.
Date: Saturday, Sept 30th from 9:30-11:30a
Location: Kids Wonder 7562 S University Blvd Suite GG, Centennial, CO 80122 - We will be in a private room with fun toys and things for your first born to do during the two hour event.
We want to set you up for success and give you all the tools you need not just to survive as a family with a new baby, but to thrive!
During this two hour event, our group facilitators will guide you through the emotional & mental health shifts of welcoming an additional child into the family.
Our guest speakers will help everyone in the family prepare for the newest addition:
*Sleep Consultant - Bonnie Dimmick will not only review with you tools on how to get an infant sleeping well, but also go over do's and don'ts of preparing your firstborn for what to expect when sleeping with a new infant in their home.
*Gentle Parenting Expert - Kelli Schow - will give you the language you need to prepare your first born, setting gentle expectations so that you can foster sibling connection from day one and give you useful tips for those tough 'how do i balance this?' moments.
*Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Laura Vanston, DNP, CPNP-AC/PC Did you know that second babies get sick younger in life than first born? Laura will give you valuable tips on keeping the whole family healthy.
