Kylee Nelson

Denver / Aurora / Central Park

Hi! I’m Kylee Nelson. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist in Colorado and Oklahoma and I run Fulfilled Motherhood Co.; a private counseling practice focused on serving moms during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I started my private practice when my son was about a year old after my own difficult postpartum journey. I am passionate about helping moms overcome anxiety, build confidence and self esteem and figure out ways to balance taking care of themselves and their babies. I don’t believe there is one right way to do this parenting thing, however I do believe that you have what it takes within you to do it your way. I see it as my job to help you uncover those strengths and figure out how to live a life that leaves you feeling fulfilled at the end of day instead of overwhelmed.

I live in Denver with my husband, our son, two dogs and tortoise. When I’m not doing therapy I love being outside exploring parks around Denver with my son or reading a good mystery novel.

Anahita Lake-Khosravi

Denver / Aurora / Central Park

Hello! My name is Anahita, owner and co-founder of Empowered Living Collective. I am a licensed psychologist, I graduated from University of Colorado Denver with a Doctorate of Psychology degree in School Psychology. I am a first generation Iranian American, who takes great pride in my culture and ethnic background. I value people of all identities, and aim to create an inclusive therapeutic space.

I am a licensed psychologist who has worked in the mental health field for over 16 years now, starting with focusing primarily on kids and adolescents. Once I became a mom, my focus shifted to including women in the prenatal/postpartum phase of life.

I am a mom of an adventurous 2 year old girl and a smiley, happy 9 month old boy. My pregnancy journey through the first year of my daughter’s arrival was not what I expected.  It was much more challenging than I could have imagined, and in many ways that I was not prepared for. The biggest support for me during this period of time was being able to talk to others who had similar experiences and could relate. I hope to help normalize your experiences while also providing a supportive space to explore your challenges and successes in the parenting journey!
